Keller joined 28 other lawmakers to be sworn in for the first time. Jan. 4 marked the beginning of the 195th General Assembly. Rep. Fred Keller today took the oath of office to represent the 85th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. In total, 29 new House members took the oath of office for the first time today. Mike Lyons, plant manager of the Beavertown location of Conestoga Wood Products, and Tom Gingrich, director of operations at Conestoga, presented Rep. Fred Keller with a special quilt to honor him for his 25 years of service at the local manufacturer. Twenty-one new Republican legislators will join the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 2011-2012 session.
